with tacky, cloying platitudes
we run the risk of waxing rude;
but since they're always in demand
they stay convenient, close at hand ...
placating drek is being spewed
in horrid, vile platitudes:
it all comes out in the wash
just water under the bridge
waste not want not
here today, gone tomorrow
she's in a better place now
what's done is done

Seems more and more are leasuring their words. Perhaps society is becoming more realistic and perhaps we are trying another method of communication.
I know myself I have started to measure what I say and I often speak in riddles... and wish I could speak in 'tongue'.
I like the imagination of this submit Mike.
