I Would Two

This is a continuation of I Would.... Actually, the poem began as a reply to a comment (a nice bit of writing) by *sadeejade on that piece. A pretender to the throne, having been asked what he would do if he could be Satan for 24 hours, describes the ghastly deeds he would commit should such a miracle occur, and having passed the test with flying colors, he becomes Satan. Here, the horny old devil (portrayed as masculine/feminine, for Evil encompasses all) has met his match in a mortal women; he declares his willingness to cast aside his immortality in order to be with her.

I'm afraid I sacrificed a little legibility for style here (style over substance in all things, say I *chuckles*), so I'm including the text of the poem here just in case you have trouble making out what the ol' boy is saying:

I would brush aside the tortured gasps and sighs that stand between us.
I would loose your bonds and draw you up inside my hellish boundary.
I would take your hand and guide your gentle soul into my garden.
I would answer all your prayers with not a moment's base deception.

I would run my face along your form in ravenous distraction.
I would pierce your veins and drink your life for just a moment's pleasure.
I would pull you to me in escape, my evil throne forsaken...
I would trade eternal scales and flesh for passion's hunger waiting.
